Porter Robinson partners with Goldenvoice, Brownies & Lemonade, more on Secret Sky 2
With the release of his sophomore artist album, Nurture, peeking over the horizon soon, Porter Robinson has announced his second virtual music event, Secret Sky. The announcement comes at a time when festivals and events are struggling over whether to open or not. Even though Porter fans are yearning to get back to the Bay Area for his IRL event, it seems Robinson has opted for the latter.
Taking place on April 24, Secret Sky 2 comes one day after the release of Nurture so those tuning into the stream will definitely be a must for everyone looking to hear Porter’s new material live. But, in a tweet to a fan, Porter still says to listen tot the full LP first! Porter Robinson quipped further on Twitter,

The second edition of Secret Sky will be available on YouTube, Twitch, Oculus VR, Playstation (via Rad TV), just like last year, and will also feature a new and improved digital auditorium. Teaming up with Goldenvoice, the minds behind Coachella, Brownies & Lemonade, who put on Digital Mirage, and Slush Management, Porter’s live-streamed event will be donating 100% of proceeds to MusiCares, which is a non-profit arm of the Recording Academy (aka Grammys) who mission is to give back to artists and music industry professionals in need.
