Hulaween family returns home to Spirit of Suwannee Lake as organizers deliver bombshell 2021 line-up

Late last month, the folks behind the magical Suwannee Hulaween leaked the festival’s 2021 return over their social media, telling attendees to “save the dates” for October 28-31. Today, in another surprising move, Hulaween organizers have delivered one particular bombshell of a line-up in their usual game of expert artist curation and perfectly balanced genre representation.

Of course, The String Cheese Incident are set to deliver their spectacular triple night, uniquely themed three-hour sets. Other headliners include Skrillex, My Morning Jacket, Leon Bridges taking this year’s hip-hop/R&B mainstage slot, Zeds Dead with a Deadbeats Takeover, Khruangbin, and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead.

With an exquisite equilibrium between jam and electronic, there’s one thing Suwannee organizers know best: bass music. With Liquid Stranger, LSDREAM, and Mersiv representing the Wakaan banner, the duetted femme fatale of Deep Dark & Dangerous sharing the stage during VEIL b2b NotLö, Queer freestyle Wreckno on the ones and twos, GG Magree, and more to join in phase two, Hulaween always promises to be every bass fanatics low-end sound haven.

Hulaween will also include sets by Bonobo (DJ set), Chris Lake, Claude VonStroke, Cordae, EarthGang, Jungle, Lane 8, Lettuce, Lotus, and Turkuaz. Jamtronica mainstays Break Science, The Floozies, Manic Focus, Sunsquabi, Daily Bread, and more will also take the various stages strewn across the coveted swampy venue grounds.

After being forced to cancel last year’s Halloween weekend gathering, like every major live event in 2020, the news brings ear-to-ear smiles to the faces of the dedicated Hulaween family. After all, Hulaween was never really about the line-up. It’s about community, camaraderie, and spooky shenanigans— and, admittedly, those three nights of Cheese!

Suwannee Hulaween will return Halloween weekend, Oct. 28-31, to its longtime home at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. Three- and four-day passes will go on sale beginning tomorrow, May 19, at 12pm EST.
