Celebrated British dance duo Gorgon City have released their newest LP teaser track, “Dreams,” via Astralwerks today. The new offering follows the duo’s latest single, “Never Let Me Down” featuring Hayley May, “House Arrest” with Sofi Tukker, “Nobody” alongside DRAMA, and their Evan Giia-assisted track, “Burning.” Of course, this has all been building up since 2019 to their eagerly anticipated third album, Olympia, which is out this Friday, June 25.
Offering up ethereal tones and Gorgon City’s trademark arpeggiated bassline, “Dreams” is elevated by its accompanying video, that journeys through an idyllic, paradise island scattered with imposing, Greek statues.
An album shrouded in Greek mythology, Gorgon City’s third album is as grand in scale and ambition as its title suggests. What began in 2019 as a compact, 10-track project has grown into an 18-track opus covering multiple moods and movements.
The fans’ demand for Gorgon City’s return to the clubs is undeniable. This September, the duo will embark on some of their biggest and boldest shows to date, with the driving force being Olympia.
