Porter Robinson shares a new behind-the-scenes look into ‘Nurture’ live tour [WATCH]
Nearly six years after his debut artist concept album, Worlds, EDM visionary Porter Robinson has recently released his second full-length, Nurture, to much acclaim. The April release sent shockwaves of excitement throughout the dance music community, especially since the release included the announcement of the return of Second Sky and the Nurture Live tour.
The amount of time Robinson has dedicated to the Nurture project is abundantly clear in all the painstaking details of the album. Robinson has already taken to social media to share behind-the-scenes footage of his work, music videos, interactive VR-based experiences of tracks from the album, and now a mini-documentary of the tour’s creation.
The documentary gives viewers a deeper look into what to expect in the upcoming tour and the creative process that Robinson and his A-team of production gurus have taken to bring the songs of Nurture to life. Robinson claims the album is centered on finding meaning in his music and focusing on the creativity provided in his career. However, for his Nurture Live tour, Porter Robinson has gone to great lengths to bring the “party” and “celebration” to the more serious tones of the album.

The tour is set to bring the Nurture experience to thirty cities over the remainder of 2021, but the five-minute inside look into the celebration can be found below. Even as the start of the tour rapidly approaches, Porter Robinson continues to pour himself into the final touches of the Nurture Live tour, taking his album a step further by creating an entire concept for him and his fans to immerse themselves into.
