IDM experimentalist Mr. Bill becomes the ‘Pasta Masta’ in another al-dente album teaser
The podcaster, film scorer, thought explorer, and sound experimentalist known widely as Mr. Bill is back. This time, the Northern Cal resident returns with another preview of his upcoming album, this one coming in the form of a three-and-a-half-minute Rastafarian dubstep banger. The title track of the album, “Pasta Masta,” takes the shape and form of what Mr. Bill’s sound has become famous for— vibrations that leave listeners wondering what’s to come next.
The single is the second taste of what listeners can expect on the upcoming album, following up the equally-as-hypnotizing, “Pleasure Seeker.” On top of his many collaborations, podcasts, production lessons, and everything else the Australian DJ has been up to, these two recent tracks prove that he is leaving plenty of time to work on original pieces.
Fans can look towards festivals such as Infrasound, Freaky Deaky, and Beyond Existence to catch one of Mr. Bill’s eclectic sets, while he will be playing several shows in between, including one at Red Rocks Amphitheater and multiple with counterpart kLL sMTH for their highly popular kLL bill sets.
