As North Texas’ premier springtime event and self-proclaimed “first festival back,” Ubbi Dubbi Festival has a way of rarely letting down its attendees. Despite being plagued by extreme weather, being forced to change venues often due to local concerns, or altogether canceling because of a pandemic, Disco Donnie always seems to pull out the stops in excellent curation, show-stopping production, and endless crowds of ravers coming together to celebrate the music they love.

2022 looks to be no different for the regional dance music promotion giant as organizers look towards Ubbi Dubbi’s return to the Texas Motorplex for the second year running. Staking their claim on the weekend of April 23-24, the event is sure to draw ravers in surrounding states to the DFW metroplex. Hint: hotels will be booked far in advance. For the many out-of-staters who make it through the gates annually, don’t fret because 2022 will offer a second year of on-site camping.

Gracing the 2022 initial line-up are behemoth main stage acts in Alison Wonderland, Tiësto, a Diplo sunset appearance, Excision, Zeds Dead, and a Minnesota b2b Buku set that is sure to draw out bass heads in drones to the Dubbi stage. Whereas 2021 saw a shuddering Wakaan stage takeover here, CloZee‘s newly-minted label will be hosting a Odyzey Music extravaganza that will introduce some burgeoning newcomers in the bass music world. The least of which is sure to include CE favorites in NotLö, Inzo, Rome In Silver, Kumarion, Mize, Wreckno, Ravenscoon, Tripp St., and tiedye ky.

Over at the more humble house stage, fans can expect to witness Will Clarke, Sonny Fodera, Gorgon City, CamelPhat, and more. If that’s not to one’s liking, then just head back to the sweltering main stage where attendees will likely be packed in to see William Black, a Vindata DJ set, Au5 b2b Chime, Memba, Dabin, and many more TBA artists to come!
