mau5trap releases five-track EP expander for deadmau5 & Foster The People’s ‘Hyperlandia’

Earlier this fall, famed electronic music auteur deadmau5 released “Hyperlandia,” a low-lit, slow-burning single featuring pop experimenters Foster the People. The mau5trap boss then followed the release with a fresh remix of the track from his newest protege, Lamorn. Now mau5trap has released the track expansive Hyperlandia EP, a collection of five different iterations of the song complete with new edits including the original instrumental mix and a new club mix.

“Hyperlandia” originated in 2016 as a beautiful atmospheric instrumental that was never released. Flashforward to 2021, deadmau5 revitalized the track with a mesmerizing vocal from pop artist Foster The People for a collaboration no one saw coming.
