Third edition of Second Sky sees eclectic 2022 line-up with Porter Robinson, RL Grime, Virtual Self b2b G Jones, & more

Porter Robinson‘s fan community is thriving more than ever, especially as the electronic music icon announces the full 2022 line-up for his Second Sky event. The specially-curated festival is the seminal event of the year for the Porter family and always promises to deliver names you’d expect, names you’d never guess, and names you’ve never been exposed to.
Robinson began announcing the 2022 line-up in increments with RL Grime as the first revealed artist, followed by a highly-anticipated Virtual Self b2b G Jones set that is sure to be the main draw this year. “The technic-Utopia is awakening,” read Virtual Riot’s social media bios. A 48-second visualizer was used to announce the b2b, which was soundtracked by a mashup of Virtual Self’s “Particle Arts” with G Jones’ “Time.”
Also on the 2022 line-up is Fred again…, Bladee, Hudson Mohawke, Magdalena Bay, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and salute. Second Sky attendees will also be treated to a special headline set from Robinson himself, who promised to deliver a “revamped and updated” version of his beloved Nurture Live set that debuted at last year’s iteration of the festival.
Second Sky will take place October 29-30, 2022 in Oakland, California. Tickets are set to go on sale Friday, May 13 at 10 am PT. Sign up now for access to the pre-sale via their website.
