UK artist Sam Anson delivers ‘Pieces’ of DnB-heaven with his latest double single

Emphatically starting off the year, Sam Anson brings us his 2024 winter release with the double single, “Pieces.” Arriving as a two-track release consisting of songs “Heart Of Mine” and “Control My Life,” these are two drum and bass tracks sure to get your heart rate up!

The first features jungle-style instrumentation paired with two vocal parts; a male and female chorus which work idyllically together in perfect, melodic harmony. The track delves into the realm of experimental, liquid DnB with synthesized vocals that transports the listener through a vast, sonic soundscape to get lost in. The second track, “Controlling My Life” is an energetic journey through 180bpm that winds and whips its way into a neuro-inducing delight.

Currently studying music production at Leeds Beckett University, the bustling UK scene inspired Sam to pursue his love of dance, electronic, and specifically drum-n-bass music. Taking a month-long songwriting and producing process, “Pieces” leaves Sam’s amassed following eagerly anticipating what else this talented producer has in store for us for the rest of 2024.

Driven by a desire to connect with a broader audience, Sam independently distributed his music on major digital platforms. His skill set shone as he delved into drum and bass and orchestral-style compositions, inspired by the potential he saw in the music sync industry.
