At only 20 years old, ZAXX has already collaborated with artists like KSHMR, released solo material on Tiësto‘s imprint Musical Freedom, and accumulated over 20 million streams from his remix of The Chainsmokers‘ “Roses.”

Originally known for his big room anthems, producer Greg Zaccagnino begins 2018 as a year of reinvention, soul searching, and intention setting. He’s taken the first big steps toward evolving his sound from hard-hitting club tracks into a powerful, indie-electronic vibe.

The Staten Island native’s new single “Belong” is a testament to his rebirth as an artist and takes listeners on an unexpected, emotive journey through the winding hallways of his own psychological tribulations as he searches for his place in the musical world.

“‘Belong’ is a track that hits really close to home for me,” said Zaccagnino of the track. “I wrote and sang it when I wasn’t sure of my direction or where I belonged musically. Out of that came a record that is really personal and special in my eyes.”

Right out of the hatch, ZAXX uses his very own crooning vocals overlaid by strong, buoyant synths. His thought-provoking opening verse is followed by a ghoulish electro-bass drop, only to find balance with an uplifting, atmospheric counterpart. “Belong” is vulnerable, captivating, and wildly satisfying.
