Hotel Garuda announce their break up after Electric Forest appearance

All good things come to an end. Such is the case with Hotel Garuda, the joint future bass project comprised of Chris Gavino and Aseem Mangaoka. After four years of crafting melodic beats together, the pair delivered the news over Twitter that they will be parting ways after their upcoming appearance at Electric Forest 2018.

However, the duo says it isn’t the ultimate end of Hotel Garuda, assuring fans that this only the next chapter. The move doesn’t come as too surprising for anyone whose attended their live shows over the recent years either, with Mangaoka at the helms of touring while Gavino pursued school and his Manilla Killa alias.

While only time will truly tell, it would appear that Mangaoka will become the sole face of Hotel Garuda, much like when Emoh retained What So Not upon Flume‘s departure, or Curt Cameruci of Flosstradaumus after Josh Young went onto to pursue his solo career as YehMe2.
