Said The Sky teams with NÉONHÈART for another beautiful ballad, ‘Erase Me’

Denver-based chill step producer Trevor Christiansen has become synonymous with his uplifting, emotional productions. How appropriate then that his Said The Sky moniker so commonly evokes chiming synth work, winding bass patterns, and soaring melodies. It’s the kind of sound stamp that puts him in the company of Illenium and 3lau. Perhaps no one else, though, can stand up to Said The Sky’s inane gift for choosing unique, rising vocalists to work alongside.

Now from Said The Sky comes a soaring new ballad with NÉONHÈART, who the producer worked with previously on a co-produced track with 3lau, titled “Fire.” While the 3lau collaboration utilized an organic and acoustic approach, “Erase Me” truly broadcasts Christiansen’s love for electronic elements — with vocal chops, a prolonged build-up, and glittering synths on the song’s drops, which make for highly euphoric releases. Clocking in at only 3 and a half minutes, the single exudes what makes a Said The Sky track ooze with emotionality and heart: He makes songs that breathe and bleed.
