With Creamfields closing out this past weekend, Axwell ^ Ingrosso took to one the of UK’s largest festival stages with quite the bang. The duo’s closing number ended with both members atop the decks as the three iconic dots appeared across the festival’s massive LED screens, with Axwell announcing, “TO BE CONTINUED…”

Could the stunt mean a Creamfields headlining appearance from Swedish House Mafia in 2019? Or was it the duo’s way of simply continuing with the viral hype that SHM has been going full throttle with since their monstrous Ultra reunion?

After all, the pair did just reveal to Swedish news source, Metro, that their duetted reign was seeing it’s temporary halt in light of a full-fledged SHM reunion next year. “[W]e will actually put it on the shelf,” said Ingrosso in the interview. “As I usually say, there are three dots, it’s not two plus a dot. But we will definitely still do our individual stuff.”

But the move may have been another way of confirming the trio’s imminent return to world stage, not necessarily a “to be continued” in Daresbury, United Kingdom. Either way, the three do seem to love making everyone’s blood boil over every time those three dots appear anywhere.
