Bro Safari and UFO! unveil Part 1 of their Clockwork album
After giving fans a small taste of their joint album project with the release of “N.U.M.B.,” Bro Safari and UFO! have now unveiled the full first selection of music. The three-track project, dubbed Clockwork (Pt. 1), is experimental bass music at its finest, packed with wonky, out-of-this-world wubs.
The album begins with “N.U.M.B.,” which offered up a completely new direction from the two powerhouse producers. “Inaccessible” takes listeners a step deeper, beginning with an eerie vocal buildup that leads into a dripping drop filled with spacey melodies. The album then concludes with the mystifying “Break the Curse,” a dynamic track that transports fans deep into the realms of the galaxy through its dark loops and synths.
With themes of science fiction and space exploration, the entire 3-part Clockwork project connects the constellational dots between avant-garde bass and other left-field sounds with a conceptual listening journey through the artist’s personal musical influences. Be on the look out for the rest of Clockwork, which will be arriving in discrete segments over the next few weeks.
