Tchami releases two new soulful collaborations in ‘Aurra / Shades’ EP
One can always count on Tchami to deliver top-notch house music. While his productions over the past year have mainly arrived via his No Redemption EP with Malaa, it seems the CONFESSION label head is turning the page back to his more soulful original sound.
The two brand new tracks, dubbed “Aurra” and “Shades” (feat. Donnie Sloan & Ricky Ducati), are bright, warm, and feel-good. “Aurra” starts the project with vibrant piano melodies and an undulating bass line. “Shades” takes the EP deeper with upbeat percussion overlaid by smooth synth chords and a catchy vocal hook.
The EP arrives in leu of the Tchami’s new tour, called Tchami Presents: Confession. Spanning two months, the tour features top-notch talent on Tchami’s label, including Wax Motif, Noizu, Dombresky, and more.
