Alison Wonderland is nearing the release of her remix package for her highly-lauded second studio album, Awake. In lieu of this Friday’s release, she’s released Bleep Bloop‘s official remix for the eighth track off the LP, “Cry ft. Buddy.”

Bleep Bloop previously premiered the remix at Iowa’s Kosmic Kingdom, to which Wonderland responded with praise. Bleep Bloop leaves Wonderland’s original vocals and hip-hop vibe fully in tact, adding in his signature gritty, spaced-out synths, robotic vocal samples, and stripped back, bass-heavy beats. The Northern California producer is continually proving himself a worthy pretegé of DJ Shadow with his off-the-wall sound and bleak, stark soundscapes.

Wonderland’s impending release also features remixes from QUIX & Enschway, Kill Paris, KRANE, and many more. Stay tuned for Awake The Remixes, out this Friday, November 16, on Astralwerks.
