Are Skrillex & Boys Noize working on a Dog Blood return?
Skrillex‘s return to the world of dance music is in full swing. He’s currently slated to headline three major NYE festivals next month and has been working closely with JOYRYDE, Elohim, and Mariah Carey. In addition, a couple fan-recorded videos of possible Skrillex IDs have surfaced at Japan’s Fuji Rock and on Ekali’s current tour, jumpstarting rumors that an impending Skrillex album is in the works.
Now the OWSLA don has released footage of him and long-time friend Boys Noize in the studio together, igniting rumors of a Dog Blood return. The super duo were at the forefront of techno back in 2012 with the release of “Next Order,” and “Middle Finger,” and two full EPs that would follow. Since then, Dog Blood has reunited at Webster Hall, HARD Summer, and Movement Detroit. As far as new music from the pair, only time will tell.
Boys Noize has also been busy on his own front, with his highly-anticipated ELAX project nearing its debut.
