Bassheads are just under 300 days out from attending the first-and-only of its kind festival, Dejavoom. The Bassnectar-curated festival is set to take place next year, February 27 – March 2, on the beautiful resort beaches of Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Recently, the Bassnectar team conducted a walk-through of the resort, which got attendees rather amped up over social media. To build on that hype, they’ve teamed up with artists on the line-up roster for a special Dejavoom mix series. Following LUZCID‘s guest spot on the first installment, now Dorfex Bos steps up to the decks for a 30-minute-long experimental take on all things wonky, low-end, and bass bolstered.

Packed with hard-hitting tracks from Esseks, LSDream, Liquid Stranger, Minnesota, and um.., along with a few brand new Dorfex IDs, the mix cooks up just what the wooks ordered as they continue counting down the days.

This was actually the first time I ever sat down and compiled tracks and recorded a traditional DJ mix. All of my live sets so far have been all original, so I’m not going to lie, this was a bit daunting. That being said, this mix reminds me of what Deja Voom really represents: pushing boundaries, evolving concepts, and changing the game up.

Very limited all-inclusive packages to Bassnectar’s springtime event remain. Also see if Dorfex Bos is hitting your town for the remainder of his shows in 2018.
