Deadmau5 shares tripped-out music video for ‘Drama Free’ ft. Lights

The resounding standout on deadmau5‘s recently released mau5ville: Level 2 compilation was the Lights-assisted single, “Drama Free.” Now the track get its music video release and it’s pretty zanny, to say the least.
Directed by Nick DenBoer, the video aesthetic creates a psychedelic universe with a dancing baby mau5, a cast of freak show CGI characters, and Lights delivering the song’s verses in a webbed rainbow portal network of sorts. The video also serves as bit of a follow up to DenBoer’s last music video on mau5ville: Level 1. DenBoer previously worked with Zimmerman for bringing his Rob Swire collaboration, “Monophobia,” to the screen.
