As the world of music and gaming continue to collide, Astralwerks has teamed up with professional gamer, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, for the first project of its kind. Titled Ninjawerks, it’s more than just a play on words. It’s an original video game soundtrack featuring some of the world’s top-tier electronic artists.

To hype up the compilation’s December 14 release, Astralwerks delivered three new songs off the album from Alesso, Tycho, and 3lau. Alesso delivers an enthralling progressive house tune that is as energetic and suspenseful as it is nostalgic emphasis. Tycho creates a sprawling sonic soundscape that immerses and calms. 3LAU teams up with Ninja for a banging electro stomper.

Among other artists on the first volume are Kaskade and Nero, with the project eventually following a multi-volume, multi-format release. Ninjawerks Volume 1 will be available in digital, CD and vinyl formats. Be on the lookout for more releases leading up to the official album drop next month.
