Kaytranada returns with three track EP, ‘Nothin Like U/Chances’

Montreal music master Kaytranada continues his run of releases with three sleek, funky new tracks on his new EP, Nothin Like U/Chances.

“Nothin Like U” features Ty Dolla $ign and “Chances” features Shay Lia, where the final track, “It Was Meant 2 B,” is a solo effort. Also included on the EP are instrumental versions of the featured tracks.

As is usual for Kaytranada’s calling card, the disco/funk/hip-hop blend that fans have come to know and love is in full force on the project. The project is a smooth ride through silky vocals and grooves that create an easygoing and fun listening experience.

Kaytranada is still enjoying the success of his debut album 99.9%, and has contributed to many remixes and other musicians’ projects since its 2016 release. He confirmed over Twitter that he has been working on a new LP this past year, which will arrive sometime in 2019.
