Coachella sells out weekend one in 40 minutes
This week, Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival delivered yet another monumental mixed genre line-up with headliners in Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, and Ariana Grande, With pre-sale tickets selling out before the line-up release, regular on-sale began amid the festival dominating the week’s news cycle.
Now the Indio, California-based festival’s organizers have announced that its first weekend, slated for April 12-14, is completely sold out. The time of ticket sales lasted only 40 minutes for weekend one. As for weekend two, April 19-21, three-day passes sold out six hours after going public. By comparison, 2017 and 2018 saw tickets completely sell out in three hours.
