Feed Me announces release date for 10-track ‘High Street Creeps’ LP
It’s been over five years since Jon Gooch released his debut album as Feed Me. Granted, the UK electro sensation has been busy in between working on his Drum N Bass project, Spor. But fans, especially in the US, have been practically feigning for a Feed Me full-length follow up for years on end.
That all ends on February 22, which is the date of Feed Me’s second album, High Street Creeps. Gooch took to his socials last month to unofficially announce the project, saying “I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.” A bold statement — and even harder to believe considering the sheer force that his debut Calamari Tuesday LP hit with. But if there is anyone who can top himself, it’s Jon Gooch.
“I’d amassed a lot of material since my last album, but it took a long time for me to feel like it was the right time to do another,” states Feed me in a press release. “My life had changed a lot since. I’d been through a lot of experiences and it felt overwhelming to try and condense a sprawling mass of feelings and ideas into a new story.”
The mau5trap producer will also be releasing the first single off the impending album, titled “Feel Love,” on February 8, followed by second single “Sleepless” on February 15. Fans can pre-order the track exclusively on Spotify now.
The 10-track album will land on mau5trap.
