Gorgon City takes fans deep into the UK underground on newest single, ‘Lick Shot’

Following the autumn drop off of their Escape LP last year, Gorgon City is maintaining their forward momentum into 2019 with a brand new club-ready single. The Brit duo’s sophomore offering came a full four years after their debut album, so the release comes with a bit a surprise and a lot of applause for long-time Gorgon City fans.

The track, titled “Lick Shot,” blends elements of UK-grime and melodic house, with gritty synths and a catchy hook that takes listeners deep into the depths of their underground oeuvre. The song gains its release on Gorgon City’s REALM imprint, which they founded in part with Virgin EMI Records/Universal Music Group as a home for British underground club tracks.

Gorgon City is currently gearing up for the UK half of their Escape tour, with stops in London, Manchester, Bristol, and Dublin, before making their Coachella appearance in April.
