DUCKY celebrates Valentine’s Day with a break-up EP, ‘I Still Believe In Love’
Coming off the release of “Day Zero,” DUCKY approaching Valentine’s Day a bit differently this year with her I Still Believe In Love EP. It’s a heartfelt collection of break-up ballads that exposes here emotional turmoil after a relationship failure. The aptly titled, four-track EP arrives via her own imprint, QUACKHOUSE.
From the EP’s opening track to “I’m Afraid of Everything” to the closing track in “I’m Worth It,” DUCKY isn’t afraid to lay it all out on the table for her fans. She takes listeners through the stages of grief through a series of happy hardcore and progressive numbers that strike to core of what it means to be human and to have a bleeding heart. It’s a level of vulnerability that many artists just don’t tackle today—at least not so explicitly.
