Viva Freestyle music!

Summer is officially in session with another Bassnectar-curated event on the horizon. The return of Freestyle Sessions is making its way back to the 6,500-person capacity 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. Of course, the announcement is really no surprise to Bassnectar’s occultic traveling sideshow. Alas, Lorin Ashton had recently announced the event on a Facebook fan Q&A, though unofficially.

The intimate three-day event will take place June 7-9, with support from Joker, Rezo, and Pushloop on Wildstyle Night One. The coveted Night Two Dreamtempo set brings J:Kenzo, The Librarian, and DJ Danny Corn; with Freestyle Night Three features Thelem, Phuturprimitive, and the dark, desolate duo of EPROM and Alix Perez, SHADES.

As Bassnectar makes his way to the Mile High for Freestyles’ third birthday, many had hoped there would be a return the camping festival format of BassCenter 9. But the “think-outside-of-the-box musical experience” is like no other event of the season— with tons of “throwbacks, classic tracks, rare grooves, b-sides, unreleased concepts, and long lost songs.” Plus, Denver is one of the larger cities to always welcome bassheads with open arms.

Grab tickets here, they will go fast.
