Flume releases new mixtape featuring SOPHIE, EPROM, and more
Landing as his first new music since 2017, Australian superstar producer and Grammy winner Flume has bestowed his fans with a brand new mixtape, dubbed Hi This is Flume. Spanning 42 minutes, the mixtape features a dozen solo originals alongside a handful of special collaborations.
Baltimore rapper JPEGMAFIA is featured on “How To Build A Relationship,” while slowthai lays down lyrics on “High Beams,” a co-produced track with HWLS. Past collaborator Kučka teams up with Flume and Scottish DJ/singer-songwriter SOPHIE on “Hyperreal.” Finally, Flume teams with EPROM on a heavy remix of SOPHIE’s “Is It Cold In The Water? as well as on the original track, “Spring,” which arrives as the closing song to the mix.
Flume’s highly-anticipated mixtape is accompanied by a visualizer created by friend, visual artist, and fellow Aussie Jonathan Zawada. Flume was also just announced to play Lollapalooza in August.
