RÜFÜS DU SOL to debut indie short film at Coachella’s Antarctic Projection Dome

Coachella is quickly approaching and with that comes lots of last minute surprises. The indie electronic trio from Australia, RÜFÜS DU SOL, is branching out in the world of creation to tap into the complex domain of video storytelling. In association with HP and under the direction of short film curator James Frost, the group will be debuting a short film, titled Underwater, that will express the power of merging creativity and collaboration. The 360-degree visual experience will take place in the 11,000 square foot Antarctic Projection Dome, the largest in the world of its kind, both weekends of Coachella.

In a press release with the director, Frost shared “when the opportunity arose to create the visual accompaniment to ‘Underwater’ for the HP Antarctic Dome at Coachella, I couldn’t think of a more perfect song and I knew we could create something magical. ‘Underwater’ is rich with layers, and the piece we’ve created immerses the audience visually and sonically in this expansive dome setting.”

All in attendance this year are in for a real treat.
