Ekali is debuting his new Illenium collaboration at EDCLV
As one of the hottest acts to watch in electronic dance music, Ekali has been a collaboration machine lately. The Canadian producer has released “R U I N” with 1788-L and “Jundo” with YOOKiE as well as previewed his highly-anticipated joint effort with Skrillex, making him and force-to-be-reckoned.
Ekali has recently taken to Twitter to announce — rather candidly, too — that he has an Illenium collaboration on the horizon. Given the timing of Ekali’s announcement, many fans immediately began speculating over which festival he might make the big reveal. The speculation became so much that Ekali responded to his own Tweet not even twelve hours later that it would be EDC Las Vegas, taking place this month, May 17-19.
Based on the sheer amount of fanfare that has been following Illenium, with record-attendance crowds at Ubbi Dubbi this past weekend, a collaborative effort with the Denver-based would be huge for Ekali… not that he needs it. This is a guy who’s got Skrillex in his collaborative corner, after all.
