Zeds Dead and DROELOE come together for a dreamscape match-up on ‘Stars Tonight’
Zeds Dead have steadily been releasing music lately, which usually means the boys are gathering their arsenal for some massive Red Rocks spectacles. Just last month, they released a massive tune with Dion Timmer. Before that, it was a somber Billie Eilish remix and, earlier this year, a vibrant drum n’ bass collaboration with Delta Heavy.
Now the Deadbeats bosses have set their sights on bitbird duo DROELOE for a dreamy composition that falls deep into some low-end bass. The track, dubbed “Stars Tonight,” represents the perfect marriage of what each duo brings to the table stylistically. With DROELOE’s tinker box synths and melodious chords on the song’s leading portions, and Zeds Dead’s signature hardy drops on the break downs, it’s a future bass single that takes listeners back and forth between a floating dreamscape and a gloriously muddled low end.
The track will likely see its live debut next month in Colorado as Zeds Dead take over Red Rocks Amphitheater for DEADROCKS VI.
