Infrasound delivers another dose of underground bass for 8th anniversary line-up: Tipper, Two Fingers, Detox Unit, Kursa + more

Over the past seven years, Infrasound Music Festival has been a leader in bringing cutting-edge beats from the bass music underground. Like its very name suggests, the festival is more interested in booking acts hell-bent on low-frequency sound, pushing the “normal” limit of human hearing to lower than 20 Hz per second.

For its 2019 installment, Infrasound is celebrating its eighth birthday celebration with a historic move from their venue home in Wisconsin to the beautiful treetop terrain of Harmony Park in southern Minnesota. Despite an entirely new stomping grounds, attendees can expect to see Dave Tipper headline the event, taking place July 11-14. After all, Infrasound is known for being a Tipper festival considering how the glitch pioneer has headed up the billing almost every year since its inception, excluding 2016 and 2018.

Joining Tipper atop the blll is Amon Tobin’s Two Fingers project, along with a top tier of talent that exudes the spirit of the bass music underground. Attendees will get their full dose of low frequencies with Detox Unit, Kursa b2b Seppa, Wakaan’s Lucii, Mr. Bill, Om Unit, Spoonbill, Thriftworks, and more. The undercard is just as impressive with Andreilen, Bogtrotter, Defunk, kLL sMTH, Khiva, Pushloop, The Widdler, and more, all on Funktion One, Void, and Hennessy sound.
