Bassnectar‘s second annual charity event, Be Interactive, took place a few weekends ago as legions of bass heads ventured to Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium to baptize themselves in bass and support good causes. Among the show-stopping line-up support from Mr. Carmack, Brillz’s psybass side project LSDREAM, and New Zealand dubstep legends TRUTH.

While all the openers delivered noteworthy performances, one resounding rally cry from Bassnectar fans was how TRUTH stole the show. Coming out of California’s Deep, Dark, and Dangerous bass collective, the duo captivated audience members with their soul-stealing brand of low end, free form bass. So much so that fans described the set as “a seance of demons being summoned upon us.” Another fan remarked, “That set straight up beat me into submission… was so blasted by the low end.”

Now TRUTH has uploaded their lardmark set to SoundCloud, allowing everyone to experience the hour long journey into complete and desolte darkness. With plenty of original tracks, along with selections from their most recent EP, The Unexpected, TRUTH did just what the EP’s title suggests. The duo completely took their unsuspecting crowd by surprise, transforming bodies into slow, low moving submission.

Coming off another captivating performance at Infrasound, next up for TRUTH are performances at Shambhala and Wakaan Festival. Listen to TRUTH’s full set from Be Interactive Nashville below.
