Skrillex releases heavily-anticipated ‘Malokera’ with TroyBoi, MC Lan, Ty Dolla $ign, & Ludmilla

Skrillex and TroyBoi have been working up quite the appetite together for putting out gut-wrenching bass lately. Since releasing their high-powered team-up on “WARLORDZ,” the OWSLA head and his label protegé haven’t slowed down. Taken with TroyBoi’s recent VIBEZ VOL. 3 EP, which Skrill has production credits on, they’ve brought forth a full course OWSLA buffet that has been satiating fans’ bass palettes for weeks.

Now the production pair have teamed with Brazilian beatmaker MC Lan, who leads the track with funky arrangements for an all-around Latin-inspired composition. The trio has enlisted frequent Skrillex-collaborator Ty Dolla $ign on the rap verses and Brazilian singer Ludmilla on sung vocals. Dubbed “Malokera,” the highly-teased track is completely out of the Skrillex wheelhouse, which has been the case for many of his releases as of late. In any case, it’s a stirring cross-over track giving platform to artists that listeners in the US would never otherwise know about.

Skrillex also has a Dog Blood collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, titled  “Midnight Hour,” on the horizon. If there’s one thing Skrillex has promised, its tons of new music in 2019, and Sonny Moore has long been a man of his word.
