JOYRYDE teases hotly-anticipated debut EP with full-throttle third single, ‘MADDEN’
As the prolonged wait slowly edges on for JOYRYDE‘s debut album, BRAVE, anticipation is beginning to swell at a fever pitch rate. The delay is understandable given how the LP moved from its originally housed location at OWSLA to the newly-minted HARD Records back in February.
The heavy bass house producer has not left his fans hanging by a thread, giving them new seams of the full-length project with “I’M GONE” and “YUCK.” Now JOYRYDE has released the third single from his forthcoming studio LP with “MADDEN,” a track that has no qualms with going full-throttle in a matter of seconds. Written with a certain Lamborghini in mind, the track’s composition is fast-speed and furious with action.
“After seeing the movie The Wolf Of Wall Street, I knew I wanted to do something with a Lamborghini Countach. It’s such a beautiful, scary thing that no one ever gets to see in person. On July 26th we had 2 of them on stage at my show in the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. It was a dream come true to do something like that…” JOYRYDE said in a press release.
“MADDEN” opens with a sampled version of Method Man’s “Release Yo’ Delf” before going into a high-energy breakdown. The road-tested track has all the elements that have made JOYRYDE a high-profile newcomer in the first place. Now, ironically, all that’s left for fans to do is wait for album’s tortoise-paced release, which is still unknown at this point.
