SnowGlobe Music Festival unveils massive 2019 line-up
When MTV acquired California-based SnowGlobe Music Festival almost a year ago, the goal for the Viacom-owned television channel was to insert itself into the live music market. It’s a space that MTV fits into naturally into and an untapped well at that. It also represented the moment the celebrated two-night NYE festival went corporate. With a stunning line-up headed by Above & Beyond, Diplo, Prydz, REZZ, RL Grime, and many more, the event went off without a hitch in the snowy mountaintops of Lake Tahoe.
SnowGlobe is now returning for its second year as an MTV buy-out and they’ve announced another stunning line-up to close out the year. The 2019 billing includes headliners in Skrillex, Fisher, future funk master GRiZ, Chicago-based duo Louis The Child, and two highly-sought-after b2b sets, including a Tchami and Malaa No Redemption set as well as a Gigantic NGHTMRE set, which debuted at Ultra last March. There’s also a surprise set coming from someone making their US debut.
The second tier roster is well represented by plenty of veteran and rising acts too, including Vince Staples, CloZee, Whethan, Kasbo, A-trak, DROELOE, Elohim, and more. With an undercard that includes the likes of SNBRN, Flamingosis, Dombresky, graves, Manic Focus, Vanic, Blunts & Blondes, Midnight Kids, SoDown, PLS&TY, and more, SnowGlobe is shaping up to be another winter wonderland showcasing the year’s most amazing talent.
Tickets are available now through SnowGlobe’s website.
