STS9 Push The Sky Red Rocks

STS9 is headed on a Northeast run for their 9-date Apo11o tour

The one and only Sound Tribe Sector 9 (STS9) is still riding high from their three-night Denver run, Push The Sky. The weekend included a special Wave Spell set with the legendary Chris Karns and six sets amongst the clouds at Red Rocks. Mother Nature provided the unofficial backdrop with lightning bolts surging from stormy skies in the far-off distance. The jamtronica six-piece band played many their older and instant classics, including “New Dawn New Day,” “Metameme,” “Grizzly,” and of course “Push The Sky.”

Filled with all the ecstatic energy of the Push The Sky themed evenings, now STS9 is venturing further out from the stratosphere to “Push The Stars.” In service of that mission, they’ve announced their Apo11o Tour, a 9-date Northeast run that will stop in Buffalo, Brooklyn, Boston, and more, with a final three-night stop in Falls Church, Virginia.

STS9 took to Facebook to announce the tour in an after-movie styled video detailing the incredible Colorado run, which took place earlier this month. The Apo11o Tour, running September 19-28, will serve as their fall Festivus before the band heads off to Suwannee Hulaween and a three-night Halloween run inside The Caverns.
