Bassnectar adds a third night to DOTD-themed Halloween event, Freakstyle

Fans asked for it and Bassnectar delivered, as he so commonly does. A true man of the people, Lorin Ashton, the man behind the project, took to his socials a few weeks back throwing out the idea that he may add another night to his two-night Halloween run in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Now he’s made good on that promise with a third night of Freakstyle, taking place on Halloween night, October 31, inside Van Andel Arena.

The venue sits right across the street from the famed bass head venue in Grand Rapids, the Deltaplex. It’s newer and holds a bit more on terms of capacity, maxing out at 10,834, on contrast to Deltaplex’s 6,200 max. Still, Bassnectar finds himself selling out larger and larger arena spaces time and again. A true Halloween Masquerade, one can expect that the freaks will be coming out in full costumed attire. Not to mention, they’ll be flying their proverbial freak flags high.
