Zeds Dead make their Spinnin’ debut with Funkin Matt & Fiora-assisted single, ‘Feel So’
The mark a truly successful artist is a sincere willingness to collaborate with the countless other creatives who come to their doorstep. Collaboration is the genuine spirit of the music world, especially as it gets bogged down by competition and divisiveness. In keeping with that testament, Zeds Dead have been collaboration machines this year. The Toronto-based duo has worked with the likes of REZZ, Jauz, DROELOE, and Dion Timmer, just to name a few.
Now the Deadbeats bosses make their debut on Spinnin’ Records alongside Funkin Matt and frequent Seven Lions collaborator Fiora. The track, “Feel Good,” plays exactly like it sounds. With a signature Zeds Dead lead-in and Fiora’s harmonized notes guiding the way, the track is a feel-good four-to-the-floor house stomper right after the first drop. It’s a new sonic direction for Fiora, who normally opts for angelic lines in her Ophelia Records-produced numbers. It’s also a new platform for Funkin Matt to showcase the funky elements he brings to the track.
Soulful, bouncy, and yet masterfully subdued, the three artists have recorded the perfect track to fit in with the Spinnin’ sound. We love the track so much that we’ve even included it our latest edition of The Friday Wrangler.
