Big Gigantic unleash crowd-favorite track, ‘Where I Wanna Be’
After signaling a “new creative direction” this summer, fans of Big Gigantic knew a new LP was on the way. Then the funky duo began releasing one-off singles, including the Nevve-assisted “You’re The One” and a weightless summertime single in “Friends.” Fresh off a revitalizing dual-night Rowdytown VIII run at Red Rocks, the pioneering electro-soul duo have now released their newest crowd-favorite single, “Where I Wanna Be.”
“Where I Wanna Be” features smooth female vocals, dub-heavy drops, and of course Lalli’s signature saxophone solos alongside Salken’s talented drum work. It’s a fan-dedicated track to be sure, riff with all the energy of gratitude, light-hearted fun, and living in the present moment. The track has been played out live for some time and just now touches down for its fully mastered release. The only thing left to do for the dynamic duo is to announce their next LP, a project in which fans are holding pretty tightly to their seats with anticipatory delight.
