Rick and Morty finally has a season four premiere date [TRAILER]
The Rick and Morty Season Four trailer is officially here, confirming a previous estimation that the popular Cartoon Network show would be making its way back onto the airwaves in November. That release date has been firmed up as November 10.
Adult Swim released the trailer in the wee hours of Monday morning, and the new season comes all sorts of new adventures and alien characters. The trailer also suggests there might be another apocalypse on Earth that involves Mr. Meeseeks and Mr. Poopybutthole. As the trailer notes, “five all new episodes” are coming and that it’s “half the season you deserve, all the season we could handle.”
In typical Rick and Morty fashion, fans will only getting the first five episodes this year, with the remainder of the season airing sometime in January 2020. After all, season one saw the first three episodes air in December before the show took a month-long break, with the remainder of season one airing in small bits the following year.
Season four will most likely take a similar route, and while that might seem like the ultimate tease, fans can take comfort in knowing that the delay will never be as long as the lull between season three and season four. Creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have signed on for 70 episodes, so there’s plenty of interstellar adventures in the pipelines.
Rick and Morty Season 4 premieres November 10 at 11:30 pm EST.
