Moody Good comes to SLANDER’s Gud Vibrations with haunting collaboration, ‘Heart Break’ ft. KARRA

SLANDER’s Derek Andersen and Scott Land have invited Moody Good to join their very own Gud Vibrations family, the duo’s label founded alongside NGHTMRE. The release comes in the form of “Heart Break,” featuring popular EDM vocal contributor KARRA.

As an unlikely collaboration between the commercially successful duo and a rising experimental bass star, the track is a haunting mid-tempo number featuring glitched-out terrains, thrashing synths, and highly uncalculated bass lines. All the while, KARRA’s vocals float eerily over the top of this exercise in experimentation. Moody Good has treated the majority of the track with his more experimental approach to bass music production. Although, SLANDER’s mark on “Heart Break” is obvious in the song’s lead-ups when the tempo suddenly speeds up with monstrous force to each drop. The result is a headbanger’s delight.

“Heart Break” comes as a new and more experimental direction for Gud Vibrations, which has featured the more commercially-driven bass music sounds of Wavedash, Shadient, and the like. Mood Good joined the label back in August with his single, “Walking Stoopid.” Coupled with “Heart Break,” Moody Good is sure to bring more bass music goodies to the imprint and, along with it, a whole new neighborhood of bass music fans.
