Tipper & Friends unveils three-night line-up for New Orleans return
Exactly two years will have elapsed since Dave Tipper brought his traveling sideshow to the Big Easy. Now, after some announcement delays, Tipper finally released the full line-up for his three-night Tipper & Friends run inside New Orleans’ historic Saenger Theatre. The event is set to take place January 3 through 5, 2020.
The prolonged delay was due to the venue being temporarily shut down due to the Hard Rock tragedy. “This caused delays in finalizing our ticket build and associated back and forth, We obviously didn’t want to take this long,” Tipper revealed in his exclusive, private facebook group, Tipper Community.
The event will feature three nights of Tipper in the headlining spot, with live visuals from Datagrama, Glass Crane, and Jonathan Singer. Opening acts include Prefue73, Mike Wallis, and Base2 on Friday, Teebs, Mindex, and Benji Robot on Saturday, and Evac along with a psychedelic movie night on Sunday. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Tipper & Friends event without featuring visual artists in the spotlight. The Void, DRO1D, and Tenorless will join supporting acts over the three nights.
Regular on-sale begins Tuesday, December 3 at 3pm EST. Some tickets are being held back for locals with a valid Louisiana state-issued ID. View the full line-up and ticketing information below.
