Boogie T(rio) announces Riddim & Blues 2020 tour with support from SoDown
Swampmaster funk lord Boogie T has been on fire this year. The NOLA-based multi-instrumentalist has release two EPs since August, including the dub-heavy Old Gold and the soulful Boogie.Trio project, Three The People. In addition, he’s been a featured collaborator on SubDocta’s Swonkle EP, Ganja White Night’s The One, was tapped as an official remixer for Excision’s Apex remix package, and has played countless festivals from Wakaan and Lost Lands to Shambhala and Electric Zoo.
Deep in the midst of building his very own movement, Boogie T has announced his expansive 35-date Riddim & Blues tour, with support from SoDown. The tour kicks off on March 12 in Illinois before snaking its way all across the Midwest, East Coast, and Southern US, with three final stops in Texas. Several unconfirmed dates on the tour announce are still blacked out, so stay tuned to see if Boogie T and company hit your town. Or just peak real close and you should be able to make out the blurred out cities on the line-up artwork, which of course was dreamed up and illustrated by the great Joshua Kooz.
2020 marks the second Boogie T & Boogie T.RIO co-headlining tour in the past two years, and if last year is any indication, its an event bass music fanatics will not want to miss. VIP Packages are available Thursday, December 19, with regular GA tickets going on sale the following day, December 20.
