GRiZ delivers unreleased house cut from fifth ‘Bangers’ installment, ‘Could U’
Over the past twelve months, Grant Kwiecinski has had one of the best years of his entire career. After releasing his Ride Waves LP in the earlier part of 2019, the future funk master known as GRiZ closed out the year with his ever-popular Bangers.Zip EP series. All the while, he traveled the country along his expansive, two-part Ride Waves tour complete with the immersive Imaginarium stage rig.
Now the Boulder-based multi-instrumentalist intends to keep that energy going into 2020. Recently, Kwiecinski posted a video from a recent performance of his newest unreleased track, titled “Could U.” The track is packed with the exact groovy funk house energy that fans first witnessed in Bangers[4].Zip.
The move is causing fans to question: is GRiZ going the direction of fusing his funk sound with four-to-the-floor house music? If the answer is yes, one can bet the GRiZ family is here for it. Moreover, the track is being received as an obvious sneak peak to his forthcoming fifth installment of the Bangers series.
