The Untz Festival delivers seismic fifth anniversary line-up: Charlesthefirst, kLL BILL, Digital Ethos, Hawk. + many more

Against to the myriad of festivals taking place in California every summer, The Untz Festival continually stands out amongst the pack—at least as far as bass music is concerned. This year, to ring in their fifth birthday, the festival is moving from their home on the Mairposa Fairgrounds to Sycamore Ranch in Browns Valley, California. The annual “bass family reunion” keeps its same weekend, taking place May 29-31, 2020.

One thing that consistently causes heads to turn toward The Untz is their celebration of the bass music underground. The 2020 billing includes Charlesthefirst in the top headlining spot, with additional headlining sets from Cheethos, Chee., Digital Ethos, Charlesthefirst’s side project, Hawk. That doesn’t even account for the two amazing b2b sets from Yheti and Of The Trees and Mr. Bill and kLL sMTH.

In addition, TRUTH, Khiva, and Angelic Root will bring a Deep Dark & Dangerous (DD&D) showcase, along with a “Ghost Approach Sunrise” set from Supertask, Potions, Space Geisha, Black Carl!, and many more DD&D favorites. Spicy Bois artists MeSo, Ion, and Big City are on the docket as well as Wormhole‘s Secret Recipe, FRQ NCY, and Litlbird.

Founded as a publication back in 2009, The Untz has a mission of bringing to light some of the best underground electronic artists making an impact on the industry. Check out the full line-up below and grab tickets on their website.
