Reddit hunts down new deadmau5 ID from Brooklyn Cube v3 stop [WATCH]

deadmau5 just wrapped his Cube V3 tour in Brooklyn with not one… not two… but three added nights at the Avant Gardner due to popular demand. Launching the tour last September to endless amounts of praise and hype, the mau5trap helmer has taken off the mask for the time being in exchange for some much-needed R&R.

While out on the road, deadmau5 rinsed out his classics while managing to pull out new, unreleased tracks in the process. Included in those fresh records was the 8-minute marvel, “Satrn,” and “Coasted,” both of which were said to be inspired by the Cube V3 tour itself. Thanks to one Reddit user, now avid fans have a new track to look forward to called “Bridged by a Lightwave.”

The track was captured on the last days of the Cube V3’s Brooklyn showings and was immediately posted to the r/EDM message boards, where there was much speculation right out of the gates. As it turns out, the track was played out during several nights of the stop, where the name got tossed around.

New Deadmau5 ID (I think?) at the Cube V3 show in Brooklyn from EDM

The fan-recorded video was originally thought to be a deadmau5 ID, but was later identified as “Bridged by a Lightwave” over YouTube. The unreleased track takes that classic melodic, lyrical, and more atmospheric approach that fans have come to love from the progressive house visionary’s earlier productions. If nothing else, the uplifting aesthetic certainly has marks of being pulled out of the deadmau5 vault.

Several fan-recorded videos are currently available online, although you’d be remised to not watch it immediately because these things usually get taken down.
