Stream the first two singles from Tchami’s debut album, ‘Proud’ & ‘Ghosts’
A full six years have gone by since Tchami burst onto the global dance music scene. So it’s rather hard to believe that the French house maven is only now preparing to release his debut album, which is set to release later this year. In lieu of the news, the Confession label head has released the forthcoming LP’s first two singles, “Ghosts” and “Proud.”
“Ghosts” features LA-based singer and record producer HANA’s wispy harmonic vocals and dark, industrial beats, while “Proud” conjures a more uplifting feel with Daecolm’s chilled-out R&B vocals. Both tracks are marred by Tchami’s signature bassline.
The announcement couldn’t be more perfectly timed considering how Parisian talent has just kicked off his 26-date Elevation Tour across North America. The 20-date tour is designed to not only take fans to church, but also to give them a taste of what’s to come with his debut full-length.
Tchami has already hit the ground running in 2020. He’s already released his remix of Diplo and Valentino Khan‘s “JustYourSoul,” along with a remix package of his collaborative project with DJ Snake, Malaa, and Mercer, “Made In France.” One thing is certain for Tchami: he’s beginning the new decade with unprecedented momentum.
