Relive Beyond Wonderland’s Virtual Rave-A-Thon with sets from JOYRYDE, Kill The Noise, Mija, & more
The one positive to come of the current pandemic situation is that even coronavirus can’t stop music’s ability to bring people together—even if only virtually. Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland is one of the many festivals which was postponed due to state lockdowns. Despite Beyond Wonderland being pushed until June, that didn’t stop Insomniac owner and CEO Pasquale Rotella from going live with twenty artists on the original 2020 line-up.
While the original event was originally slated for March 20-21 in San Bernardino, California, the Virtual Rave-A-Thon sees the Insomniac offices in LA turned into a low lit scene out of Alice In Wonderland. Over a million people tuned into the live stream from every country from China to France to the US. Plus, Rotella takes time to talk with each artist at the beginning of their live sets. Whether it was JOYRYDE‘s words on his incoming debut album, or Kill The Noise paying new music, to so many more exclusive moments, this is one event that garnered tons of talk over the weekend.
Thankfully, the Insomniac team has put the entire weekend on YouTube for all those who would have been at the NOS Events Center and all those that weren’t.
