Duck Sauce – Captain Duck

Despite Coachella’s postponement until October, Duck Sauce are still very much hot on the comeback trail. The super duo side project of A-trak and Armand van Helden was the talk of the ton when the world-famous festival first announced it’s 2020 line-up at the top of the year. The pair have begun putting out track after track to much fan-fare, with “Smiley Face” and “Get To Steppin” marking their first releases in over six years. Now Duck Sauce have delivered on their third track of the year with “Captain Duck.”

The duo provided the following storyline to the new track: “When the North Star shines bright, the nautical dance community knows there is only one way to go. They follow their Star, and they follow the Captain. Ships at sea, undulating to the groove. Ducks flying above them, quacking to the beat.”

Duck Face also announced their first headlining show in six years, which will take place on May 9 at the Midway in San Francisco, barring any coronavirus cancellations. Chromeo, Yung Bae, The Magician, Nancy Whang, Biscits and DJ Dials will be joining in on the highly-anticipated reunion show. Tickets are available here.
