Claude VonStroke gets creative in quarantine, films DYI music video for ‘I’m Solo’ ft. Barry Drift

Dirtybird helmer Claude VonStroke has a huge 2020 line-up for his label’s 20th anniversary celebration year. However, when Coronavirus had other plans, the California-based producer icon was forced to get creative while forced indoors. Recently, VonStroke finished up his newest one-off release in the form of a quirky and aptly-titled track, “I’m Solo.” The track touts the producer’s boisterous basslines, a lounge feel, and the vocals of Barry Drift.

To really bring the single over the top, Claude VonStroke filmed his very own DYI music video from the comfort of his own home. He reportedly ordered an action camera, a jumpsuit and facemask, and a blow-up ball for $540 dollars. The result is a fun-filled tour of Claude’s home that is strikingly well-produced and full of character.

While COVID-19 effectively canceled Dirtybird’s Miami Music Week events, it still threatens Dirtybird BBQ‘s early dates and the Birdhouse Festival in May. However, the conductor of fun isn’t going to let pandemic ruffle his feathers. The Dirtybird boss is coming off his fourth studio full-length, Freaks & Beaks, which marks his first proper album since 2013.
